Drake Business Services Asia Philippines Inc. is looking for an individual to fill the role of Regional Service Desk Support. 

Qualifications:

  • At least college level or bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Verbal and oral communication skills: Should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and the management to avoid errors in providing information
  • Organizational skills: Able to arrange work schedule and mailroom activities in such a way that will
    promote job efficiency
  • Computer-savvy: Experienced in MS Office and mailroom applications
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask: Can take on various tasks at the same time
  • Ability to work under pressure: Should be able to handle the pressure that comes with the job
  • Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints

Key accountabilities:

Hardware and software installation/maintenance

  • Install and configure computers (new or existing) within the organization's operating system, as well as productivity applications
  • Install and configure mobile phones (new or existing)
  • Install common peripheral devices such printers, scanners, photocopiers, and network components
  • Perform routine preventive and reactive maintenance and checks on common peripheral devices such printers, scanners, photocopiers, and network components
  • Assist in the IT hardware inventory management and IT information asset register

User requests and incidents

  • Perform first-level user support via the three main channels: phone, Zoom or other conferencing tool,
    email and walk-in clients at the IT front desk
  • Set up meetings for VC and TC as per requirements
  • Manage and provide technical support to virtual or on‐site meeting room AV system
  • Identify and resolve end‐user IT problems on‐site or remotely and escalate to other regional offices
    IT staff or the global service desk if necessary
  • Support users in making and following up with common IT services
  • Assist end users with personal backups and assist in performing general office‐wide backups
  • Record all incidents in the IT ticketing system (ServiceNow platform)
  • Assist in training of end users on usage of common software and hardware productivity tools
