We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Java Developer to work as an integral part of the in-house IT team. You will be working for a global brand and predominantly supporting the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of our proprietary software Digital Hub.

There is an immediate need for a Senior Java Developer to join our small but growing software team.
You will have worked extensively with several Java versions and possess a deep knowledge of Java frameworks and technologies.

 Responsibilities:

1. Good communication skills and be able to assist and mentor junior developers, collaborating with a multi-discipline team both technical and non-technical.
2. Have an eye for detail and the confidence to advise on how things can be done better, all while remaining approachable and responsive to requests from colleagues.
3. Commercial experience of development with Spring Boot will be a distinct advantage, as would any experience with JSF.
4. Knowledge of Kotlin, and any DevOps experience (CI pipelines, etc.) would be very valuable.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Coding or a related field.
2. At least 8 years' experience in Java-based programming.
3. Significant coding skills in Java, with other languages being a major plus.
4. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
5. Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
