We’re looking for a highly motivated Credit Representative who will be accountable for managing all aspects of a portfolio, including collection activities necessary to reduce AR aging, DSO and mitigate risks for the company.

Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include the following:
- Perform tasks and activities based on established and agreed Standard Operating Procedure and Process
- Utilize collection strategies to initiate collection effort for managed cross-divisional customers via phone and e-mail
- May be required to utilize knowledge of credit systems to identify and resolve complex customer accounts issues (disputes, unapplied cash, reconciliation, refunds, etc.)
- Handle escalated issues from internal/external customers
- Effectively engage sales team on critical business decisions related to account management, orders, collection and placement
- Research disputes and invoice issues, and support dispute identification and resolution process
- Provide customers with aging and supporting documents to maximize collections
- Work with credit risk management to minimize risk and support special handling on high-risk accounts
- Document understanding of customer-specific processes (payment process, approval structure, account history, portal restrictions and risk profile)
- Coordinate with client regarding collection and countering transactions
- Facilitate all transactions in an accurate, complete, and in accordance to determined cut-off times and turnaround times
- Ensure that all mail/items and related documents are always safe and secure
- Ensure that all transmittal forms, proof of deliveries and supporting documents are fully signed with complete details and acknowledged by the recipient
Required Skills, Qualifications & Attributes
To be successful in this role, the ideal applicant will possess the following attributes and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
- Four years' experience in credit, finance/accounting or related field may be substituted in part
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Previous analytical experience with aptitude for research, analysis, and problem-solving skill
- Effective communication skills with all levels within the organization, both oral and written
- SAP experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to respect and ensure strict confidentiality of company data
- Ability to handle pressure and high regard to accountability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and the management to avoid errors in providing information
- Good planning and time management skills: Able to arrange work schedule and activities in such way that will promote job efficiency
- Attention to details.
- Tech-savvy: Have good experience with using MS Office Applications
- Ability to multitask: Can take on various tasks at the same time
- Ability to work under pressure: Should be able to handle the pressure that comes with the job. Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
