About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated Internal/Foot Messenger who will facilitate the delivery and pickup of official and business-related mail/items to and from mailroom, clients, and customers. This role may also handle government, bank, registered and notarial transactions.

Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Perform tasks and activities based on established and agreed Standard Operating Procedure and Process.
- Pick up and deliver mail/items to and from mailroom and clients
- Validate before collecting, sorting, and distributing mail/items from and to mailroom. Ensure that all mail/items and related documents collected, sorted, and distributed are accurate, complete, and facilitated in a timely manner
- Facilitate all mailroom transactions in an accurate and complete manner, and in accordance to determined cut-off times and turnaround times
- Ensure that all mail/items and related documents are always safe and secure
- Ensure that all transmittal forms, proof of deliveries and supporting documents are fully signed with complete details and acknowledged by the recipient
- Endorse all transmittal forms, proof of deliveries and supporting documents to mailroom or client before end of shift
- Secure proof of delivery and complete job closing before end of shift
- File all pertinent documents properly
Required Skills, Qualifications & Attributes
To be successful in this role, the ideal applicant will possess the following attributes and qualifications:
- At least college level, vocational diploma or short course certificate in any field
- Good verbal and written communication skills: Should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and the management to avoid errors in providing information
- Good planning and time management skills: Should be able to plan and execute schedule and routes that will promote job efficiency and service delivery
- Good Geographical knowledge: Familiar with important streets and/or buildings withing the covered area
- Detail-oriented
- Physically fit and able to lift average-sized boxes
- Tech-savvy: Able to use mapping applications, mailroom applications and MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure: Should be able to handle the pressure that comes with the job. Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
- Professional Driver’s License (Restriction 1, 2, 3)
