Marketing Specialist | Remote/Midshift

Drake Business Services Asia Philippines Inc. is looking for an individual to fill the role of Marketing Specialist. This individual needs to be highly skilled in PowerPoint, Word, and document creation, including design and formatting. This person will learn and apply the client's branding guidelines to all work and output to align to the brand's look and feel. This person will be part of the marketing team and attend the regularly scheduled meetings to collaborate on team projects.

The vast majority of work will be in PowerPoint, which is required because all such documents will be frequently revised and updated by many people in our organization who don’t use Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva, etc.  Supreme PowerPoint skills and design within PowerPoint is a must. Skills in Word is almost as important.

The ideal candidate will also be able to:

• Work independently and generate design excellence without too much direction
• Work as a leader in the role, initiating their own creative thoughts and ideas when needed (rather than waiting for direction)
• Will be a team player as work as an integrated part of our marketing team
• Will have excellent communication skills
• Attend meetings to collaborate on projects when needed
• Meet all deadlines, including those with tight timeframes

The ideal candidate is one who is proficient at

• PowerPoint and Word
• Design and layout of professional B2B documents
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Video-editing tools
• SharePoint

Responsibilities:

Document Support

• PowerPoint slide creation from text
• Designing of or redesigning presentations
• Sales proposal presentation customizations and formatting (PPT)
• Org chart updates (PPT)
• Proposal (Word document) design and layout creation with formatting
• Formatting operations manuals on occasion (Word document)
• Formatting only on occasion for Word documents

Marketing Support

• Newsletter or brochure design and layout
• Flyers and ads
• Building out SharePoint pages
• Calendar announcements creations (holidays, birthdays, etc.)
• Teams background creation
• Ads for sponsorships
• Ongoing Photoshop/clean-up of headshots and other images used in presentations

Video editing (Adobe Premier Pro)

• Short video creations using PPT with text and stock video footage
• End-of-year thank-you/congratulations x 50 videos
• Video editing for customizations
