We’re looking for a highly motivated Storekeeper who will be responsible for managing IT assets, specifically handling delivery and pullout requests, handling asset inventory and reconciliation reports and monitoring asset disposal. This person will also be responsible for the supervision and monitoring of asset movers, communicating company and client goals, deadlines, and safety practices to the team. This person will provide help to management and keep management updated on team performance, as well as communicate concerns and policies among management and team members.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Attributes

To be successful in this role, the ideal applicant will possess the following attributes and qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably a degree in supply chain management
  • At least 1 year of experience in inventory management, warehousing or logistic operations
  • Knowledgeable in inventory control and management
  • Good written and verbal communication skills: Should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the management to avoid errors in providing information
  • Experienced in using MS Offices and inventory system
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Multitasking: Can take on various tasks at the same time
  • Independence: Ability to plan and manage work with minor supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure: Should be able to handle the pressure that comes with the job. Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints

 

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include the following:

  • Ticket handling
  • Inventory handling
  • IT asset vendor deliveries
  • IT asset disposal
  • Audit
  • Implement DBSA attendance policy strictly. Monitor staff attendance and coordinate with account manager for reliever deployment
  • Consolidate report for submission to operations manager/client
  • Ensure that all records, files, and documents related to operations are kept in a secure manner
  • Consolidate, validate and submit DTR, overtime and the like to DBSA head office
  • Client management and customer service - Initial discussion of issues and incident raised by client to be reported to operations manager; coordinate with client regarding all transactions; respond to customer inquiries, requests, and feedback in a timely manner via email, phone or face to face
  • Process improvement - Propose process improvement based on observation to be reviewed and approved by DBSA management
  • Reporting - Prepare and submit validated reports in a timely manner
  • Compliance - Ensure standard operating policies, processes, procedures are strictly followed
  • Perform ad-hoc activities that will be assigned from time to time
  • Complete special assignment as assigned by operations manager
